Meet and Greet Opportunities
My goal is for every parent to feel comfortable sending their kids out to join us as we explore and learn in Idaho’s beautiful outdoor spaces. It can be challenging to have actual tour times with an outdoor classroom which is why we offer class observation/meet and greet opportunities! Each semester (spring, summer and fall) we offer several opportunities for families to come and join us in our outdoor space and see what class is all about. The entire family is welcome to come for the last half hour of our class day, some families choose to watch from a distance, some kids feel comfortable right away and have jumped into the activity we are doing right away! After our class observation period, as our current families pick up their kids, prospective families have the chance to ask questions of our teaching staff or ask other parents what they have enjoyed about The Idaho Outdoor School. We hope that by offering this opportunity to not just see the class in action, but to ask questions of teachers and families and have a chance to explore the outdoor space your child will be learning in, you can feel confident in choosing The Idaho Outdoor School to join in on your hoe education journey!
Currently we have 3 Class Observation/Meet and Greet times available:
Tuesday April 22nd 2:30-3:30 Wilson Creek Park in Nampa: 2608 S. Juniper St. Nampa, ID
Thursday May 1st 2:30-3:30 Star Riverwalk in Star: 1000 S. Main St. Star, ID
Thursday May 15th 2:30-3:30 Star Riverwalk in Star: 1000 S. Main St, Star, ID
Things to keep in mind for Class Observations:
Send me a message to let me know to look out for you if you are planning on. attending! DM, email, phone number, however!
Look for the canopy! As long as it is not a windy day, we will have a canopy or two up. Our Nampa location is tucked away from the playground, down near the water.
While the whole family is welcome to join, if you have a dog or smaller children, please keep them near you while we finish up our classwork.
Bring your questions! I LOVE chatting all things Idaho Outdoor School and would love to answer every tiny little question you have!
Even though we offer several opportunities to come and observe our class, please know that if those dates do not work for you, we are willing to work with prospective parents and find a time that they are able to come and see what we are all about, all you have to do is reach out!
