Summer Camp: BRAZIL: August 11th-14th

Camp Overview: Come travel the world with The Idaho Outdoor School for Summer 2025- fifth and final stop: Brazil!! We will learn about the history, art, food, inventions, geography and climate of Brazil through play and projects. Summer camp is an incredible way to get your kids outside, meeting friends and continuing on with their learning through out each season.

Learning Activities:

  • Each camp will follow a rotation of themed learning goals and projects:

  • Day 1: Geography and Climate

  • Day 2: Notable People/ Traditional Dress and History

  • Day 3: Inventions/ Large Contributions to the World

  • Day 4: Preparing and Studying Cultural Foods

Camp Details:

  • Ages: Designed for homeschooled students ages 5-13

  • Format: Drop-off program

  • Environment: Fully outdoors- students should come dressed for the weather. Summertime means sturdy, water appropriate footwear, sunscreen and LOTS of water.

  • Supplies: All materials provided

  • Class Balance: Ample time is set aside for structured learning, building friendships and lots of free play!

Additional Info:

  • Children will need to come with a lunch and snacks packed and there will be water play in shallow parts of the river. If you have any restrictions in regard to these activities- please notify us!

  • Discounts of 10% for siblings and/or multiple camp enrollments.

9:00-9:30 Games

9:30-10:15 Lesson on day’s theme

10:00-11:15 Project of the day

11:15-12:00 Nature exploration/play and journaling

12:00-12:30 Lunchtime

12:30-1:00 Game on day’s theme

Monday August 11th 9:00am-1:00pm

Tuesday August 12th 9:00am-1:00pm

Wednesday August 13th 9:00am-1:00pm
