American History – The 1700s

Overview:
In this engaging class, students will explore the formation of the United States during the 1700s, including a focus on the American Revolution and the birth of a new nation.

Class Highlights:

  • Discover key events and figures that shaped early American history

  • Dive into the causes and impact of the American Revolution

  • Participate in group projects and discussions to bring history to life

  • Explore life in colonial America through hands-on activities and storytelling

  • Learn to connect past events to present-day government and culture

Details:

  • Designed as a drop-off program for homeschooled students ages 6–12

  • All supplies and materials included

  • Completely outdoors – students should dress for the weather and be ready to learn

  • Balanced structure with time for both focused learning and peer connection

  • Weekly email recaps detail what was covered in class

Additional Info:

  • No outside work is required, but content can easily be extended at home and documented for charter school submissions

  • Sibling and multi-class discounts of 10% available

  • For all classes, we are going to move all communication to the BAND app. Families will have access to photos and a quicker way to communicate.
