Oceanography

Overview:
In this astronomy class, students will dive into the study of space, planets, stars and discoveries surrounding our solar system.

Class Details:

• Group projects and hands on learning

• Examine the details of the solar system

• Dive into problem solving and experimentation

• Study the history and the future implications of astronomy

Details:

• Designed as a drop-off program for homeschooled students ages 6–12

• All supplies and materials included

• Entirely outdoors – children must come dressed for the weather and ready to explore

• Balance of structured learning and free time to build friendships

• Weekly email recaps to keep families informed about class activities

Additional Info:

• No outside work required, but optional activities may enrich at-home learning and simplify charter school submissions

• Sibling and multi-class discounts of 10% available

• For all classes, we will keep all communication to the BAND app, families will have access to photos and a quicker way to communicate.
