Career Deep Dive

Overview:
Prepping our burgeoning adults for adulthood is one of the greatest joys and responsibilities, this class is designed to do just that! Diving into career choices and pathways for adulthood to create forward thinking mobility.

Class Highlights:

  • Use interviews with a variety of career leaders to lead the research into how to get into and succeed in said career.

  • Explore military, entrepreneurs, college and trade schools

  • Learn to budget, search for jobs and predict a career path

  • Develop problem-solving and critical thinking with group activities

Details:

  • Designed as a drop-off program for homeschooled students ages 9-14

  • All supplies and materials included

  • Completely outdoors – students should dress for the weather and be ready to learn

  • Balanced structure with time for both focused learning and peer connection

  • Weekly email recaps detail what was covered in class

Additional Info:

  • No outside work is required, but content can be extended at home and used for charter school documentation

  • Sibling and multi-class discounts of 10% available

  • For all classes, we will keep all communication to the BAND app. Families will have access to photos and a quicker way to communicate.
