American History 1900s
Overview:
This engaging class takes students on a journey through some of the most pivotal moments in 20th-century American history. We'll explore major events and cultural shifts that shaped the modern United States through interactive lessons and group projects.
Class Highlights:
Learn about key events like World War I, World War II, the Cold War, the Vietnam War, and the Space Race
Engage in hands-on projects and collaborative discussions
Understand how these events impacted American society, politics, and identity
Explore the connections between historical events and present-day America
Foster critical thinking and historical inquiry through guided research and activities
Details:
Designed as a drop-off program for homeschooled students ages 6–12
All supplies and materials included
Completely outdoors – students should dress for the weather and be ready to learn
Balanced structure with time for both focused learning and peer connection
Weekly email recaps detail what was covered in class
Additional Info:
No outside work is required, but content can be extended at home and used for charter school documentation
Sibling and multi-class discounts available
For all classes, we are going to move all communication to the BAND app. Families will have access to photos and a quicker way to communicate.
