Math Skills and Games
Overview:
This hands-on class brings key math skills to life through games and outdoor exploration. Students will use their bodies and the natural world around them to engage with math concepts in a fun, active way.
Class Highlights:
Use movement-based and outdoor games to reinforce math skills
Explore geometry, measurement, patterns, and number sense
Strengthen addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division through play
Develop problem-solving and critical thinking with group activities
Connect abstract concepts to real-life applications in nature
Details:
Designed as a drop-off program for homeschooled students ages 6–12
All supplies and materials included
Completely outdoors – students should dress for the weather and be ready to learn
Balanced structure with time for both focused learning and peer connection
Weekly email recaps detail what was covered in class
Additional Info:
No outside work is required, but content can be extended at home and used for charter school documentation
Sibling and multi-class discounts available
For all classes, we are going to move all communication to the BAND app. Families will have access to photos and a quicker way to communicate.
